This contest is over. The winner was obvious for us: Theodore Won with his planet named Kusudama.
Wikipedia Definition: The Kusudama (薬玉of Kusu, medicine, and dama, globe) is a special form of origami. Different pieces of paper are assembled together, tailored to their peaks, so as to form a spherical surface. Some Kusudama may consist of several hundred pieces.
Originally, the Kusudama were used to contain incense or other aromas. Today, they are mainly used as decorative elements.
The Kusudama is also a precursor to modular origami. This is not a particular form of modular origami in that the various components are sewn between them and non-nested or folded together.
